36 hours in bed
Yes that is where I have been and not eaten or drunk all that time. Sue has been coughing for the last few days without wearing a mask. Consequently I caught the cold and it knocked me out, not even enough strength to sit up .Still very weak but hopefully on the mend

Honey, Lemon and paracetamol four hourly through the day and a tot of Rum or Brandy last thing at night.

I take paracetamol and nurofen plus at the same time as they work in different ways. I am getting over the same thing so you have my sympathy. This cough/chest bug is really contagious.
Make sure you stay hydrated even if just with hot water and a drop of lemon juice.

Oh no!! Man flu is far more painful than child birth. Or so it would seem to anyone observing it. Inflicting that level of self pity onto anyone is worthy of a Greek tragedy, but is indeed worse since even these tragedies only last a few short hours with at least one intermission half way through.
