I'm not sure how you'd go on about ensuring you receive payment. You could, of course, ask for a deposit or part payment up front, but I suppose a lot of customers wouldn't like that.

I wont be in any hurry to gi back to work.....once ive released capital from the business im in a good pisition as these will be quite considerable...they were a part if my retirement fund, originally.

I hope all goes well TP. As you say it's a bit of a pain when this happen as I know to my cost. It's something that the left leaners on here don't consider when they constantly criticize the S/E. The risks of self employment sometimes far outway the gains. Any way good luck, I'm sure you've made the best decision.

Nah, that's just a Ruse, anyway, being a Sole Trader is the backbone of this society, I just wish, the less productive folks would contribute a bit of the benefit, to the HMRC payment due in a couple of weeks time, from the capital generators.|
