Sorry, I can't think of an original question at the mo.
It is one road that leads into another.
I have mentioned some clues, I can see the 'Stow' from the rear of my house. Parmiters field that I have access to.
Final clue. He supposingly said, "Kiss me Hardy".

No. Apart from the poems that I had to learn at school, I have never felt the need.
Just plain text is what I have had to do, and still do.

Emjay, I see that you're into model aircraft. One of my old schoolmates was well into that and has written articles for the model aircraft magazine, his name is Cyril (Bruno) Draper, have you heard of him ?

Good morning Emjay.
If commitments and money weren't a problem, what would be your ideal way to spend a Sunday?

In your own time!!
Of course I would swear when they crashed. At myself as it would be 99% of the time, pilot error.
But as they are now built of high density foam, they are easily repaired.
I have as long as I can remember had an interest in aircraft.
I was given a model by the son of one of my mothers friends.
It was a balsa and tissue model. I remember it flew, but soon broke.
At school I and a few others all went and bought and built the same model. It was a keilcraft 'senator' free flight glider.
We would stand on top of a hill and see who's would go the furthest.
At present I have in flying condition 14 models, and 6 quadcoptors (they call them drones).
I have always preferred gliders and sailplanes.
Just one of the videos of mine flown from the field rear of my home.

I can't say I have. But the chances are that I might have read the articles when I bought the magazines.

Yes, of course! That route wouldn't take long. Can see now.

I always thought you lived in the main road! I always said 'hiya emjay' everytime I drove past that row of houses.

Trust me to get it wrong. Hah hah.

It was the clue 'turning your head to look at the Stow' that confuddled me then.

I thought of a question in the night, but have forgotten it. Duh!

Well here is a few of the famous people that I have had in my cabs that I can remember.
Some would chat, and others just sat quietly. I would not attempt to start a conversation unless they started one.
Christopher Timothy was very chatty and I picked him up quite a few times.
Also Wayne Sleep was a regular.
Tommy Steele was the first.
Nigel Havers was the last I picked up before I retired.
Kenneth Moore
Christopher Timothy
Eric Sykes
Sandy Shaw
Sara Lancashire
Cris Ubank
Richard Chamberlain
Brian Rix
Jeffrey Archer
Michael Hesiltine
David Jacobs
Wayne Sleep.
Billy Connelly. He did not stop swearing the whole journey.
The fence was finished last year.
