Hospital Again

Hi

Been in Coronary Care Unit for a week, yet another heart attack.

What was different this time was the new Consultant in Resus.

He did not muck around, hw has different ways of doing things.

I was injected with Diamorphine, which is medical grade heroin.

That stopped the pain

It is weird stuff, I was floating

i was recovering 8 hours later.

A new Heart Consultant as well, who has altered the treatment for the better.

Unfortunately I caught an infection in Coronary Care so had to be in Isolation in an Infection Capsule, which was boring..

Released from that last night and back home this afternoon.

I hope the new Medic can sort things out satisfactorily and you don't have to keep retuning to hospital.

I think you'll agree with me when I say we are lucky to have such able and competent experts in the NHS.

People complain about the health service, but I know that I've always been very pleased with my treatment. Just the long waiting times, sometimes!

I will not get better, my condition is inoperable.

There is no medical fix.

None of us in Immortal, we will all die.

The Medics have been great, I know what is going to kill me and likely timescales.

I am not at much risk of sudden death as those who are walking around in blissful ignorance.

I know what the signs are are and have been given the appropriate meds and instructions.

I will last longer than those who do not know their condition.


I intend to enjoy every single minute of it.
