I spend ages picking the meat off the bones and taking themout as I dont like bones in my food ..... I remember as a kid we use to get the buck shot in it too.... some times you swallowed some and it would sit in the bottom of the loo for ages........;0)

Just as well it didn't break the toilet pan Baggy darlin' - we used to spit ours out onto the plate before we swallowed them.

That made me chuckle Cheshire because that's what I do - when you have them on your plate, do you sit there eyeing them with a mixture of suspicion and loathing

Its the same with lettuce - I put a few small leaves on the plate just to show willing.

And then when they're left on the plate do you say 'ooh, I'm full now' pretending that you just can't manage those lettuce leaves

don't even bother with lettuce these days

I actually like sprouts, although bought some once pre-packaged from Argentina, they were the most vile taste we,ve ever had.

Val darlin' - leading up to Xmas every year - Iceland stores stock frozen sprouts and sweet chestnut mix - its lovely!!!

Oh I do Cheshire - that bloated feeling after one leaf too many

I think one of the worst 'shock's I ever had, with eating, was biting into what I thought was a roast potato and it was a roast parsnip! Not the taste I was expecting (and I don't like parsnips).
