I'm with you on that. The leaving date is set in law, but the date the EU wants some real proposals, can be set at convenience. But, as you know, no one will give a pauper*bread, but everybody will give him advice.

I don't know what you heard breaking donks, but this is in the news.
The European Union has*rejected a request from the British government for a Brexit deal without an*Irish backstop in.

Brexit secretary*Stephen Barclay*said on Thursday the UK*should be given until the end of 2020 to come up with a replacement for the policy – but has been told today that the EU could not consider a deal without a backstop or replacement in.

Hi

Where on earth did that come from?

Our Own Statistics, UK Government Pink Book.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...United_Kingdom

Completely different from your statement.

We have published our WTO Trade Schedules, no duty on car parts, only finished Cars.

The Germans can simply take back Mini Production to the EU.

Merkel is not an idiot, far from it.

We export vast amounts of car parts to the EU.

After Brexit, they are no longer EU Content under rules of origin.

These Companies are not UK Owned, they will simply move if it suits them.

Re: Meanwhile in the Eurozone ...

Just today on TV jean claude made the statement that there
was still time to RENEGOTIATE the deal!
That is a contradiction of all he has said before??
Things are moving too fast now for Solly to keep up!!

Sorry to disappoint you. He said a deal is still possible if the proposed measures by the UK meet all conditions of equivalence to the backstop. In the picture the EU note on the propoisals handed in by the british today. You can read it yourself.

And as you can see, may's deal is the basis for boris actions

I will elucidate Solly, eu cant be seen to change course so
they make it clear to uk that an extension will be granted if
UK requests one, but Boris has allready declarered he will
not do that? So in effect the eu has allready decided that
an extension is in THEIR interests, NOT the other way
round? In other words there has been some movement?
You should welcome this, as it is what you have preached
since l have been on this forum.
