A great day for British Sport

Hi

Chris Froome wins the Tour de France and Lewis Hamilton wins the F1 Grand Prix in Hungary.

I am well pleased.

Well done Lewis, takes the lead in the drivers' Championship

Well done also to Chris Froome, though I didn't follow the Tour de France...

No mention of the England v. Pakistan test match then.

It's looking like a right walk-over!

I enjoyed watching Laura Muir win the 1500m and set a new British Record. Well done!

Well done to Chris Foome , he left a lot of his skin on one stage and had to ride Geraint Thomas bike ,,,on another he had to run up a hill till he got a replacement bike , He well deserved to win , Must not forget Cavendish the Manx Missile , who got 4 sprint wins ,And now has the Olympics to go for ..

Broome cheated he went for a run and im sure he was sucking a spangle, clear sign that he was on something.

Motor racing and Cricket are not sports just sleep aids.

However England struck back at Belgium as my team hammered one of theirs, a victory for Brexit.

Re: A great day for British Sport

I think the achievement of Chris Froome in winning the Tour de France ranks among the greatest sporting achievements by a UK sportsman, certainly in my lifetime.

What a pity the World Anti-Doping Agency had to let down sports people everywhere with such a weak and feeble piece of buck passing with their decision on Russia.

I agree about motor racing, but cricket is a fascinating game although it does require a well-functioning brain to appreciate its finer details!
