Well, this humble Aussie sees no problem at all !

If anyone's been sending me "notifications" they must be going straight into my Spam Bin.
I have certainly never seen one. Nor have I sought them.
I don't see the point.

With two clicks, I get into the site.
I go to "Unread Posts (excluding games/jokes)".
Scroll down the threads and enter any of interest. Easy peasy.

If I'm engaged in ongoing battle in one or two threads (perish the thought),
I can click on "Pumicestone" and immediately find threads to which I have contributed
and
read the responses from any foolish twisted souls who have chosen to disagree with me.

Doesn't matter. Even if you subscribe and opt for email notification, you still won't get it anyway. Nor will your subscribed threads show up in your control panel.

At least that's the experience I've been having.

Or, maybe it's just me, as most threads I've posted in have come to a sudden halt. I seem to be the great threadkiller around here lately.

Have you checked your spam folder?

I got the system to send you a password reminder - did you get it? (Ignore it - no need to reply or click on any of its links)

Yes I got it, Azz, thank you. I was like what? I didn't request to reset my password! So I figured I'd better come in here to see what was up, haha.

I've been checking my spam folder, nothing is going there. However, along with the password reset request, I also got notices for new posts in subscribed threads. So maybe it's working now? Hope so!

Not a weirdo at all Linda, if you are, then so am I. It was like having my left arm removed (I'm left handed) when Azz stopped them, but I'm glad to say it's all 'Hunkey Dorey' at this end now. When there aren't enough hours in the day, it's nice to work your way down the Over Fifties e-mail list to see what your friends? have been saying.....Without having to spend half an hour searching in the dark recesses of the forum.....Helloooooooo!

I just click on Control Panel, gives me a list of all threads that I have posted in, unless I unsubscribe to them, no need for emails.
