I dislike dogs (I'm a cat person), but if I'd run over a dog I'd be very sad.
I rescue mice that the cats bring in (if they're still alive) and spiders which can't get out of the bath.
Still, it takes all sorts to make a world.

I do remember once, though, a black clock (a northern term for a black beetle) once tried to bite my finger when I poked it at it. It must have been hungry.

Well that's how I feel about spiders, I know they don't bite, but it's a leap of faith to handle one........A leap I will not take......
