Garments not fit for the purpose..

I went to an aqua fit class at my local swimming pool this morning. It's exercise in water & I really enjoy it.

Sometimes the exercise is quite vigorous & as I was leaping up & down in the water my boobs flew out of the top of my new bathing costume! I quickly ducked back in the water & adjusted it.

It was certainly not fit for the purpose it was made & I won't be wearing it again!!

Have you every owned any garments that weren't fit for the purpose?

Once bought a pair of cheapo shoes, which developed holes in the soles within 200 yards of walking along the road in them.

Oddly enough, my washing machine has a strange fault. It seems to shrink my clothes over the winter, and then make them loose again by summer

My wife's knickers are not fit for purpose - I try my best to pull them off, but they're far too tight on me!

My Mum knitted me a yellow swimming costume when I was 6 or 7 and I felt quite proud of it until I went in the sea on holiday - the costume stretched down over my knees, so embarrassing!
That was the end of her costume making 😄

A pair of leggings...I had been everywhere in these leggings, bending over when picking up my shopping, jogging in them,etc.

Then one evening my son arrived to take me back to his house...he said...I hope you aren’t wearing those back with me.

I can see the colour of your knickers and it’s not a pretty sight...😮😮😮....
