Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 3)

Glad to say that the Service started in the porch and not at the Church gate - that was cold enough. However we had a goodly number in Church and it was a nice service. Just had time to sort out the collection when I came home and then I was taken out to lunch at the Golf Club. Lovely. Going to do some more sewing now...................

Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 3)

Gone all gooey eyed. Just had a piece of video sent to me of a concert by the Treorchy male voice choir last night, at St Augustines in Penarth, South Wales. It's where Michael and I were married nearly 50 years ago. What made the video more special was that my two 7 year old twin grandsons were part of a small group singing with the choir * You Raise Me Up*

Bet that made your day Celyn
Starting to cloud over here....debating whether to go dancing....can't seem to shake off this lurgy I had a couple of weeks ago.....keep thinking it's gone but still hanging around. .....shouldn't complain really...plenty of people worse off than me ....
have a good day all....

Celyn I would have been in bits watching that! Lovely morning here, though it's still windy. Just wondering whether to put the washing on the line. Have taken my pooter into "hospital", just couldn't get rid of those pop-ups.

Celyn it must have been lovely seeing your grandsons singing in the choir. Nimby hope you manage to get rid of the lurgy. Sue sometimes you have to put your pooter in to get it fixed. Really cold here today and we had hailstones earlier.

Nimby your lurgy is lasting a while but everyone I've been talking to has something wrong with them . Roll on Summer xx
Sun out earlier but clouding up now, not cold though
I've run around with hoover and I think I've got a frozen shoulder so probably on the painkillers soon.
