I have no idea what hopscotch is, a game I take it? I liked to do my own thing rather than play with others.

I sort of knew what hopscotch was, never played it myself as I couldn't hop, I saw others play it, they were not my friends.

Two of them are close friends

The schools I attended way back in the 1950's are a haze to me now, I don't suppose the likes of boys known as Fatty.O, Ginger.E, Pear face.S, Stinkyy. C and Rhino.W felt any need to retain the company of their detractors

The thing is though with people you have known for such a long time there is a bond that's different they know the real you from way back right from playing hopscotch together
Summer, I remember playing hopscotch in the street too, along with games like black pudding, may I, skipping, whip and top and what about two balls! We used to play this on the wall of the end house, it must have driven the neighbours crazy but they never complained! Memories!
