Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

That made me smile Rhosyn - what a clever lad!

Had a visitation today from two ladies from the Posture & Mobility team to assess Rob for a new wheelchair. We were so impressed with their thoroughness and attention to detail and amazed to find that the new chair should be with us in a few weeks. (They will bring it and possibly do a few tweaks on the spot to make sure it's comfortable for Rob). NHS at its best.

Off to dinner with friends in the pub in the village. Making the most of not being in total lockdown yet like most of Wales seems to be.

Can hardly believe the lovely sunshine we have today. Making the most of it as the forecast for the next week or so is dire!

My steak last night was delicious but too large so I came home with a doggy bag. Guess what's for dinner today?

Wonder if the Trump/Melania thing is a bid for the sympathy vote?

Horrid day here, don't think it's stopped at all. District Nurse has been to take some blood from Rob - he wasn't pleased to see her! Just heard that a young friend, son of friends, is hospitalised with an infection of his heart valves, and he is not at all well. Poor lad.

Wet walk this morning but the storm that was in the forecast hasn't arrived.
Feeling a bit sad today,it's a year since I said goodbye to my little Westie after 16yrs.Still miss him even tho I've got this mad Jack Russell to keep me going.
Keep well and safe.
