Blimey...72...that's hardly out of short trousers...
RIP,Dean...I too,liked Marmalade.
I think everyone,at some time, has absently sung their songs.
A decent man...a good musician-and a father.
I think you'll be a hit in Heaven,bro.
Dean Ford, the lead singer of pop band Marmalade, has died at the age of 72.
The news was announced by his daughter on Facebook, as she described her dad as "an amazing man, a gentle soul and extremely talented musician".
Scottish group Marmalade were best known for reaching number one in 1968 with a cover of The Beatles' Ob-la-di Ob-la-da.
Oh dear, who on earth is Fred Davis?
Please accept my humble apologies Dean.
Thank you for putting me straight Feey, I must be losing it big time.
I wonder if one of the 'M & M's would mind changing his name for me in the title heading please?
(No worries if you can't be assed, we all seem to know who I meant).
