Good morning Yorkies and honorary Yorkies.....A lovely story yesterday I wanted to share that I think is so lovely and so Yorkshire
Yesterday I was in the hairdressers in Otley I noticed an old man in the waiting area who I assumed was waiting for his wife he was just sat there minding his own business but every so often one of the girls would ask him cheerfully....you ok Albert or do you want a cuppa or something like that....anyway after quite a long time I asked my stylist if he was waiting for his wife?
What she told me really touched my heart....oh no she said his wife died about eight months ago he just comes here for the company....and there he sat just watching the world go by...how often does he come I asked...oh most days she replied he does no harm she told me it's better he comes here it's ok with us...
