Any interesting apps?

Have you added any to your smartphone or iPhone, or even your computer, that weren't already on it?
I'm always on the look out for new or unusual ones.
Just recently I have added Scrabble, Draw Something, Brain Training, Sky Go, Canon Print and the Wetherspoons app
All either very useful or entertaining!

Re: Any interesting apps?

I player is stand alone , wish is ‘interesting ‘ as some things on there are indeed good quality /prices ... but many items are just rubbish however I passes a minute when bored and seeking a little retail therapy ... but remember items take forever to get here ( but everything I’ve ordered has indeed arrived )

Re: Any interesting apps?

I don't have a smartphone (I know, I know, I'm a dinosaur) but I do have 2 iPads (which I rarely use to be honest).

Not downloaded many apps.....FB Messenger, but not the actual FB app as that works just as well through a browser.

Google Chrome browser on both as I find Safari hopeless.

Candy Crush

ISS tracker on one. And also Star Walk 2 which shows you what's in the sky.

BT wifi app on one so I can get on BT Fon when out and about.

BBC weather app...erm...and Dropbox on both.

Re: Any interesting apps?

Two that have been useful are 'UK Bus Checker' and Google 'Translate'.

UK Bus Checker gives bus times in realtime (not just the timetable times) for any bus stop in the UK.

Translate has been useful because we had a German lady staying with us who didn't speak any English. We don't speak any German.
