Feeding rhubarb

I have now got 3 different varieties of rhubarb planted in my garden. They need ‘feeding’ but what can I feed them with apart from ‘well rotted manure ‘ that I cannot get?
Last season one of the plants grew thin stalks. This I since learnt was due to the lack of feeding.

Re: Feeding rhubarb

Hi Emjay you can by farmyard manure from garden centres and places like B&Q.

Seaweed is good for rhubarb , there is a liquid seaweed feed available for plans which is good for lots of things it is quite expensive though .
