Has the animal has been confiscated for sure?
Think I'd wander past that shop again and have a peek in the window tomorrow.
Sadly, the fact an Inspector said he would pay them a visit, doesn't necessarily he mean he will be dissatisfied with what he finds. If everything seems to be in order, there is not much they can do.
Sorry, don't mean to be a wet blanket, but three times I have reported things and bugger all has been done.

Sweetie Pie, thank you so much for taking action. Being an advocate is one thing but being an activist is a true kindness.I hope things go well for the turtle and am very pleased to know that there is an investigative staff who can act on behalf of animals and the citizens who want them well-cared for.
