Re: undecided photo ??

We could have a thread where folk post a photo and invite others to edit / enhance it.
That might be fun to see what others can do.

It would have to be a photo that's not precious though or we could have fisticuffs

Re: undecided photo ??

Can anybody recommend an editing thing that I can use on my iPad?
One that's idiotproof, preferably!

The tools already on the iPad are very limited.

I'd like to be able to pixel or blur out faces, too.

Re: undecided photo ??

I think it feels slightly out as the horizon line is in the centre of the photo- as suggested cropping might alter the balance to the composition.

As it is I think the 'eye' is not sure where the attention should be- the sky section, the horizon/reflection, the sea or the shore. They each have an equal demand.

It is a good photo though but I would play around with it to enhance the drama of it- force an emphasis somewhere.

I use Photoscape - it automatically saves the original. It is not a lot of use with RAW files as it converts them to jpeg to manipulate them.

I recently got Photoscape. A program that's come a long way since I last took a look at it ..and it was good even back then. It has some graphics capabilities. I made Mags's recent Birthday greeting in Photoscape.

Ok horizon not exactly level or is it????

What do you think about the photo?, be as honest as you like
I think the horizon is level but there are other aspects that the eye perhaps tries to make level as well, such as the clouds and the shoreline. The eye could be tricked into thinking the horizon is not quite level because of those angles.

Whatever though, it makes the viewer take more than a quick glance at that aspect of it. That aside, I think it's a very good photo as well.
