Blockbusters is back

Yes, the popular quiz show from years ago is to return soon. Unfortunately, I fear it has been turned into a comedy series. The brilliant Bob Holness (who sadly died a couple of years ago) is to be replaced by none other than Dara O Briain and if the trailer is anything to go by, will include lots of hilarity. It's on Comedy Central!!!!!

Oh well, another decent programme dumbed down for the masses in the name of comedy.

TV isn’t made for 50+, radio is on most evenings.

I don't think anyone could replace Bob Holness in Blockbusters, he made it his own

He was great wasn't he. He had just the right connection with the kids and I think people of all ages watched it.

He wasn't just the host of the programme, as you say he had the right connection with the kids which endeared him to his audience.

The thought of watching dara obrian's ugly mug for an hour in any programme is just to much to ask any human being.
