Eighteen Years

Eighteen years ago today that Diana died, doesn't seem possible really.
She would be proud of how her sons have turned out.

I remember waking up that Sunday morning to hear the news of that terrible accident ... It doesn't seem like 18 years!

She really would be proud and she would be a granny now I wonder how she would have embraced that one..

She had a wonderful rapport with children. She would have been a fantastic granny.

I often wonder how her life would have turned out had she lived . Would she have married dodi , would there have been children , bet she would still be a beauty . I think had she not had the privaleges in life and come from ordinary life , I would have loved to have been her friend .

I remember that day so well, bending over the guinea pig run (that Dad made me) to clean it out, just saying 'No! No!' Over and over again in disbelief.

Phoned the parents, told them, Dad said his legs turned to jelly, Mum told me not to cry, then spent the day crying herself, watching on tv. She in turn phoned eldest sister. Surprisingly, none of them knew about it!

What a terrible day.

I too remember that Morning when My Eldest Brother phoned Me from London in tears,I was having a long lie-in,We just couldn't believe it
Much the same as the time when it came on the TV about JFK being assassinated, I was cooking dinner and My then Youngest Daughter was in Her bouncy chair watching a Childrens prog'...tears of disbelief.
