I agree. I have always found using a touch pad rather difficult and inaccurate.
I had a Logitech MX Anywhere mouse which was very good in most respects until the left mouse button became unreliable. I googled the problem and discovered that it is a common problem with that particular model, so contacted Logitech. I have to say that they were very good and without any quibbling agreed to replace it (post free) with an upgraded model - MX Anywhere 2 - which has some advantages over the original model, in addition to the left mouse button working reliably. They didn't even want the original model returning.
I couldn't have expected anything better.
