Hi

Why, he is an idiot and certainly no friend of the UK.

He treats us with utter contempt.

There's no doubt that Biden is so far ahead that he will win if he has captured the swing states, which, apparently, he has:

Of course, it is a close contest on the "battlegound" and Trump's mugs could have lied to the polls .....

Re: Biden vs Trump: who is leading the 2020 US election polls

Poll: Donald Trump is on course to win four more years in the White House with an electoral college landslide, the final Democracy Institute poll for the Sunday Express has found.

https://www.express.co.uk/news/world...n-swing-states

Sun, Nov 1, 2020

The survey of voters by the US President’s favourite pollsters gives him 48 percent ahead of his rival Joe Biden on 47 percent.

Significantly, the President has, according to the latest findings, maintained a four point lead of 49 percent to 45 percent in the key swing states including Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

It means he is on course to easily win the electoral college by 326 to 212 votes against his Democrat rival in a result which would shock the world even more than his astonishing defeat of Hilary Clinton in 2016.

The Democracy Institute/Sunday Express poll has throughout the campaign been one of the few to predict a Trump victory since March.

This is because unlike other polls it only looks at people identifying as likely voters instead of just registered to vote and it has tried to identify the shy Trump vote.

According to this latest poll almost eight in ten (79 percent) of Trump supporters would not admit it to friends and family compared to 21 percent of Biden supporters.
Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality .....

There aren't many black and Hispanics queuing up to vote early. The dems are seriously worried now.

You mean that the Americans let the blacks and hispanics vote?

Every 30 seconds, a Latino in the US turns 18 and becomes eligible to vote.
Even "jailbirds" in the US can vote:

Voting is a right that hundreds of thousands of people in jail don't know they have - and that unawareness locks them out of participating in democracy, and shaping their communities.

The question of who can vote in the US comes down to the difference between prisons and jails. Prisoners, who have been convicted of felonies (more serious crimes) and are typically serving longer stretches, are barred from the ballot box except in Maine, Vermont and Washington DC.

But in jails, almost everyone is awaiting trial, or serving a short sentence for a misdemeanour. And in either case, they are entitled to vote.

It's worth stressing that most people in local jails haven't been convicted of a crime. They may be there purely because they can't afford $500 (£390) bail.

Well, that's going to encourage them to stay on the straight and narrow, isn't it?

Re: Biden vs Trump: who is leading the 2020 US election polls

Here comes Donald! New poll shows Trump OVERTAKING Biden - Alarm bells ring for Democrats

https://www.express.co.uk/news/world...wa-Andrew-neil

According to a poll by Des Moines Register* and the Mediacom Iowa Poll, the Republican President has overtaken his presidential rival in Iowa.

Mr Trump now leads by seven percentage points over Mr Biden, 48 percent to 41 percent.

Three percent said they will vote for someone else with just two percent unsure of who to vote for.

Just five percent did not want to reveal their voting intentions.

This recent poll asked 814 Iowa voters between October 26 to 29.

Back in September, the two candidates were neck and neck with both receiving 47 percent in the poll.
I'm guessing that was a straw poll conducted in the state which produces more corn than any other state in the US .....

* The Des Moines Register is the daily morning newspaper of Des Moines, Iowa. Wikipedia Circulation: 33,830 Daily

The whole of Iowa has a population of 3,155,070.
