Re: Halloween, for it or agin it?
I loved it when my boys were wee. Never, ever had enough goodie bags for everyone, there were dozens of them. These days I have to say I'm not interested. I wouldn't open the door to strange children I didn't know as I'm in a different house now and would wonder why someone would let their wee one come to my door. Sadly. I do miss those days when my boys were wee . Enjoy and cherish the day I'd say.Re: Halloween, for it or agin it?
This village is ageing so very few kids. But go back say 15 years and it was quite a night. All the children dressed up and every group was escorted by 2 adults.Re: Halloween, for it or agin it?
The bird was a prop (taxidermy) for our calendar photo-shoot. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00O4CJ4WKRe: Halloween, for it or agin it?

I used to dress up. I think I still have my witches wig which is probably shorter than my long black hair but the hat is there somewhere too and the webby shawl and long sleeved gloves. Not much point though if the kids do not come round anymore. Oh maybe I will get another tin of chocolates in and hope they will come round.
