The Green Party is very strongly against selling arms to nice places like Saudi. I thought many here would be really happy about that.

All the horrific cruelty and abuse they suffer daily, for a slap on the wrist or at worse, a 10 year ban on keeping animals.
There has got to be a change in the law and stiffer sentences for dumb animals. Someone has got to fight for them, because they can't do it for themselves.

Re: Vote Green?

There are so many pros and cons with each political party.

Green always sounded good to me but ... I think not ... and I do have a bit of an issue with such huge organisations as the RSPCA.
Enormously rich but not necessarily using their money wisely.

Corruption is rife, as with the BBC, BT, the NHS and so many of our major charities.

OK maybe I hold a jaundiced view ... a born cynic? or a realist?

The Vet we used to go to, decades ago, wouldn't have anything to do with them and that certainly got me thinking.

Then I realised that all these 'charities' and organisations which begin with good intentions are at some point subject to corruption and greed..

I believe the Christian Church owns immense areas of land and property.

Ditto the NHS ... what a horrible mess that's in

Re: Vote Green?

I listened and actually felt fear ! 4 day week great but who can live on the wages ? Open borders ? No thank you. Stopping investment in nuclear power ? Sorry a windmill won't replace nuclear with the number of people we have in this country needing power.

I've listened before to the ideas for us drivers and again I find that plain scary.
