Business Taxes

The latest news I have just read - The French guy has just said that the UK will face consequences if we go ahead and reduce Business Taxes as Theresa May has suggested.

Question - Who has access to the bigger consequeces - us or them? With all these threats coming from the EU side, I guess they must be worried about somwthing. I wonder what it can be.
