Tunturi Exercise Bike

After over thirty years, sob sob, my trusty Tunturi is no longer. The Finnish company no longer has the "brake pads" to replace. Because the bike is so heavy and well built, I had to disassemble it in order to take it to the dump. These are the offending pads, look a bit like asbestos close up....

Year Tiz

Re: Tunturi Exercise Bike

I too have a Tunturi exercise bicycle which I use just about every day. A normal session lasts for 30 minutes. I also have had it for 30 years (a bit more, probably, but I’m not sure for exactly how long I’ve had it).

It’s still OK and I hope it remains so.

We have an old Kettler bike which is also around thirty years old. Still going strong. Only paid £15 for back then , secondhand.

You can have brake pads relined
