They are moving assets - they are still here.
Before you said they moved their head office which was completely wrong now you are saying they are moving, which is still wrong.
Banks do this all the time - Barclays did it as well, moving billions in assets to Dublin and if you remember, it was good old Deutsche Bank that apologised for talking bollocks about the number of people they were moving to Frankfurt from London as well.
The moving of resources is/was for passporting in case that the EU refuse us the right to operate from London without an EU office. However, back in November last year it looks like the financial arrangements post Brexit are agreed anyway. Besides, the last thing the banks want is to stay in the EU Financial Services Framework - after Brexit they will have a lot more freedom if we deregulate, which will also collapse Paris and Frankfurt when the banks move from there to over here.
A Corbyn Government was the bigger threat and the real reason the banks got twitchy in 2017 during the GE.
