I believe that you have misquoted from:

The diagram at that link indicates that of the 47% from European pipelines, 21% of Europe's gas comes from Norway and 36% of Europe's gas comes from Russia.

That 36% from Russia will increase dramatically when Nord Stream 2 comes on line. Nice of the EU to bypass poverty stricken Ukraine and deny it of any transport taxes ...

However, in the UK, most of the*natural gas imported*comes by pipeline from Norway, the Netherlands and Belgium.
There are no pipelines that allow Russian gas to flow to the UK from Norway (the biggest source of imports).

But it's impossible to establish the source of gas flows from continental Europe coming to the UK through pipelines.

The government estimated*in 2016 that Russian gas via this route would make up around 1% of the UK's gas imports.
A spokeswoman for the Department for Business, Enterprise and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) told BBC News that the UK "benefits from highly diverse and flexible sources of gas supply. We estimate less than 1% of our gas comes from Russia and are in no way reliant on it".

You've again quoted without a source link ..... however, the source is:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-43421431

Significantly:

But it's impossible to establish the source of gas flows from continental Europe coming to the UK through pipelines.
All our gas could all be coming from Russia .....

Quote: (translated)
Last year was the first for the Netherlands to be net importer of natural gas. Almost 12 billion euros worth of natural gas was imported and 9.8 billion euros were exported: a trade deficit of more than 2.1 billion euros. The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) reports this on the basis of provisional figures for the Dutch trade in goods.

It was already clear earlier that the Netherlands imported more gas in 2018 than it exported. However, it is now for the first time that the financial consequences are known.

Since 2012, the extraction of natural gas in the Netherlands has more than halved. At the same time, imports have been increasing for years, mainly from Norway and Russia. In 2018, the Netherlands imported nearly 56 billion cubic meters of natural gas, doubling compared to 2012.
Unquote.

So the netherlands exports their own gas to get foreign valuta (£) and import cheap gas from russia for it's own consumption.

So what's that got to do with the percentage of gas imported from Russia to the UK?

If you are really nice to us, as the world's second biggest exporter of LPG (and soon to become the biggest), we could supply all your gas needs - no need for any pipeline with our gas, it all goes by ship.

It shows that your cited 36% russian gas is for continental consumption. You buy dutch gas from groningen for UK consumption.

It seems that the lng only provides 9% of UK consumption. Isn't lpg mainly used as fuel for automobiles, busses etc?

As your link pointed out and which I quoted:
