Reduce the facilities and comforts in the prisons especially choice of food which at most should be normal or vegetarian only and so reduce the cost at a stroke.

Then introduce barrack style prisons behind secure fences to further reduce costs.

Let's face it if such accommodation was good enough for our armed services in the not too distant past then it's prolly TOO good for crims.

It could and should be done. Once free of the awful EU and soon thereafter the totally unnecessary ECHR these things and more will become possible.

If punishment fitted the crime and the authorities were not so soft when dishing out penalties then the prisons would not be so crowded because these criminals would know what to expect whereas now they know that if caught and sent down they will have a 'cushy' life with all the comforts they would get in a three star hotel plus the backing of the do gooder brigade, which IMO should be abolished

And then the "human rights" lawyers will make an even greater fortune.

Not if we rescind the adoption of the unwanted unneeded EHCR that Mrs Blair was so keen to get her lying POS husband to sign up to. Anyone might think that human rights legislation was her speciality ----- oh, wait.

True. BLiar and his ugly wife have cause no end of problems for this country, whilst making their combined fortune.

Well, well, now what a coincidence!

I remember reading about that place - and thinking it was a good idea!
