I looked up the details just this morning.As of the 19/12/2020, 272,001 doses of vaccine have been administered and there have been 6 cases of anaphylaxis shock; all of those recovered after treatment, but have been advised not to have the second vaccination.

I hope so and that it can be rolled out quickly over Christmas. I have been speaking to many in my health support group who are over 80 and have already been vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine.
None seem to have had any adverse effects, I always get a sore arm with the flu vaccine.
The news said people were pouring out of London on the trains last night , some will be taking the virus with them so we all need to stay vigilant and safe until the vaccine becomes available to us all.
Is the forthcoming Oxford vaccine in some way better than the existing Pfizer vaccine?
I'm assuming that the former was developed here and the latter in America.

I often think it is a good job that the scare mongers didn't have use of the internet when we were young.
If people had been able to post their opinions to the rest of the world, in those days, I wonder how many of us could have died from Polio , Smallpox and a few other vaccinations we had in those days... just because our families were scared of the very small risk of side effects if we had the jab!
