Been for a walk.

Hi

The sun came out, nobody around so on went the mask and gloves and over the shoulder went the holdall.

I walked to the new corner shop, only 190 yards away, but managed it.

A week ago I could not even walk 20 yards.

I managed to walk back without stopping as well.

Not much for most, but special to me.

Whilst there I celebrated by buying a bottle to see the new year in.

I had to get the shopkeeper to unscrew the top for me as I am one handed at the moment.

Swim I can understand your need to get out & it is good that you managed the walk safely & got your bottle to let the new year in.
I suspect that many on here will be toasting the New Year at home, so just put your feet up and & think about the rest of us doing the same.
