Years ago, cartoons always seemed to depict an irate woman as standing on a doorstep with a rolling pin in her hand.
The man’s crime? He was usually late home from the pub!!
Did this happen in real life? Did women actually hit a man with a rolling pin?
Why were women depicted as a violent breed?
We are little demure creatures aren’t we... devoid of any violent actions...
