Peacekeeping

So, after a bit of a squabble at home (my fault if truth be told), things have returned to peace and harmony all round.

How long does it take for you to recover from a row and return to the happy status quo?

Indeed, do you still bear a grudge and/or bring up previous offences during other moments of minor disharmony?

Kiss and make up or better yet, don’t let it get to such a low point.

Re: Peacekeeping

Hi

Bearing a grudge is just a fact of life and easily forgotten very quickly if you have any intelligence at all.

Posing a serious threat to family or friends is something very different.

I never row with my son, we have disagreements, we talk through them like mature adults should, we never hold a grudge, because one never knows when they leave the house if we will see them again.

We always tell each other on departing I love you....

Re: Peacekeeping

Husband always apologises....
He hates bad feelings and moves on in minutes.
He is normally at fault...as he is a typical Leo..Bossy.
I am easy to forgive in general, unless somebody red flag me...

Re: Peacekeeping

I only have Chloe to squabble with usually when she has stolen the strawberries off the plant but I get over it quickly .

Having consumed the strawberries Chloe doesn't care anyway and just looks smug ...

Re: Peacekeeping

I think a row is good to clear the air... but it ends there!
I don’t believe in holding onto it, as that’s unhealthy.

You just move on ... until the next one!

Re: Peacekeeping

Hi

Lessons to be learnt.

Never argue with ladies, you will be beaten.#

I had two younger sisters who could run rings round me.

I would always lose.

Terrorists?

No problem.

Little sisters ?

I was beat every time.
