Clodagh Rogers

The Northern Irish singer from the early 70s.

She is the first female singer I can remember singing on the television. Then she disappeared for a while. I asked my eldest sister about her and was told 'she got the sack'.

I had visions of her placed in a sack and carried around that way! She is 71 now and still singing.

Goodness, Ffosse, that is a name from the past. I remember her as being a good singer. Didn't she do 'Eurovision' way back when?

A very talented singer she certainly had her ups and downs. I was still a kid when she appeared late 60s. She certainly was a looker but the dress sense of those days make me cringe.
She reminds me of a frigging ostrich in the first one.

I saw her years ago in Blood Brothers...she played the mother and was very good.....just like like Marilyn Munroe....gosh I love that show.
