Definitely – they gave me a living, I was involved in producing some of them!

Me too but still haven't been on a bus since 1981.

Probably my last bus or train travel was in the 1980s, shift patterns meant that was not very often. Even so it was very satisfying seeing my own work displayed on a bus or train and in London Underground stations. The same applied when travelling home by car through London, seeing advertising on large billboards along the route.

Re: Adverts

I can't say I can remember any adverts on busses. I think I must have turned off to advertising years ago. It would have to be something really outstanding to get me to notice.

They were the things you stared at when there was someone ugly sitting opposite.

Re: Adverts

I don't notice them and I don't use buses very often due to panic attacks.

Re: Adverts

The only thing I notice about buses is that they're always in the way when my light is green and their light was on red when they went through it

Can't remember the last time I went on a bus. Germ ridden, dirty smelly things ...

Having said that, it would be nice to sit in a clean one and watch the world go by when someone else is driving, plus I could look at the ads

Re: Adverts

I occasionally read what's on the back of the bus, no.34 as I follow it into Woking but usually it's a rude note written in the dirt.
