The brits have always been famous for their negotiating skils. Brexit however has done massive damage to that reputation.
A trade deal is always prepared by the civil servants. It's the politicians that sink the deal.

Better than any petition: the house is going to table an amendment to revoke article 50. Polls by yougov show a majority for remain under the public. If mp's do what their voters want.....

That would suit me - revoke it today. Have a complete re-shuffle of the cabinet and get on with business. Probably not as usual, but it is better than the stagnation we have at the moment.

Damned hard right is as bad as the sodding hard left IMO. They don't give a sugar buttie about about finding a middle road and as I have come to appreciate, sometimes it is all about compromise.
