It's not right to insult leave voters. It is very hard to make up your mind and make a choice. Now let's wait till they make the right choice.

The word is used in this sense to denote adherents to any extremist ideology - in much the same way that "kamikaze" ("God-wind" in Japanese) is used loosely to denote someone hell-bent on deliberate destruction (and not literally an aeroplane pilot who makes a deliberately suicidal crash on an enemy target).

Strangely, l agree with both the above. But leavers desperation is
being driven & overwhelmed by the desperation and dirty tricks of
remainers.
