to. the Thailand. elections. currently. being run in that. country
Where the ruling. military junta. are. writing the rules,
as. events. unfold. I suppose. And. are. warning that any early
results. may. be. changed.

Sounds like greece. Sounds like spain. Sounds like yougoslavia.
All before they were admitted to the EU. Wanting to enter the EU made them adopt their system to public administration and democracy.

Thailand has had serious issues.

I rather think that they are doing well to sort them out.

It is one of the most unequal countries in the world, but the people are lovely.
