My how size changes

I was reflecting on how much clothes sizes had changed.
Having worn some clothes of past decades for a TV series a few years back. I found the size 10 dress very snug.
A quick search and ........................

Now that's interesting. The last time I was a size 10, I think I was aged 18 or 19. Happy days.

If these facts are true, I wondered how I had always managed to stay a size 14 for the last 50 years!
Oh well, it's the fashion experts word against mine.
As long as that dress on the rail says size 14, it fits my size 14 frame, I'm happy.

Re: My how size changes

I was size 10 for a short time after l had two children but then l had three more babies and that was it.
I am size 14 now and that’s fine.
To be honest, l’d rather have a nice, friendly face than a skinny figure!

Absolutely Arty and you have.
I am only little, so it is most likely my skinny bones.
I think Marilyn Monroe was size 14???
