So they say but oddly I've not had a filling since I was 12 ! It's more to do with genetics IMO and a decent tooth cleaning regime.

I'm lucky my family all had good teeth, my husband's family had dreadful ones and gave up on his a while ago embracing the false teeth idea.

I'll have you know I have still got every single tooth, and many without fillings even - oh, except my wisdoms, they had to come out due to impaction, not decay.

I have many fillings but I haven't needed any dental treatment for many years now. Just wish I'd been more careful when I was a kid eating all those jelly babies!

Hi Julie, I know just how you feel. I am the same with Bassett's Liquorice Allsorts!! I always have a dish of them on the coffee table and I can't help overindulging myself sometimes and suffering for it!! Really enjoy them at the time though!
