I'd sat and wracked my brains and I'd decided it was going to be that copper chap that was putting the pressure on Charity to own up to insurance fraud last year.

Some of the storylines are getting just plain daft.
Is there anyone in that village who isn't having an affair? Addicted to booze? Blackmailing someone? Battering their bloke? Impersonating someone to get fraudulent bank loans? Stealing cars? Doctoring DNA results? Running down the vicar AND, tut, tut, with no driving licence.

Does anyone actually farm or milk the cows anymore



Getting more like a rustic 'East Enders' every week.

Wonder where this story of Belle's ailing pony is going, too?
The little pony who she is supposed to have been devoted to since childhood - which, strangely, we have never seen or heard of before? (well I haven't ever seen it, have you)?

It's a very old pony! She took more notice of it when she was younger. I expect we're in for another meltdown from her just as she was getting better. At least it's bringing adolescent mental health into the spotlight instead of infidelity all the time.

Hamish is a bit of a miracle as he started life as a pig and disappeared for years returning as a pony

A bit like Matt Skilbeck´s wife Dolly who went into hospital to have a baby and came out 3 years later as a different Dolly but with a baby that took 3 years labour to arrive

I think they forget many of us watched from the start, some of the writers are younger than the show !

There used to be a lot of episodes on youtube, sadly ITV got sniffy about it being shown and made them take them down. But up to about 4 years ago I was watching them.

I wonder what happened to Matt and Joe and the original Jack who went off to become an author I think? Then came back different!
A lot of the newer cast seem to have started on Heartbeat!

I often wondered about Jack, I can remember him coming back, he'd become a top selling author. He came back very well spoken and then hey presto he suddenly became a "Yorkshire speaking farmer" and his best selling book was never mentioned again.

Did anyone watch Emmerdale last night, that was good effects I thought.

Will not say anything if people have not watched it yet.

I suppose it is one way of getting rid of actors in one go.
