Aggressively bored?

Do any of you feel like I do at present? Nothing to moan about really - nothing to rave about either. Is this what life is like when you get close to retirement age?

Something ain't right but I'm not sure what it is?

So go on enlighten me ...

I regard boredom as a luxury

Sometimes when I'm bored I amuse myself by looking at posts and threads on here and facebook and scoff at the bad spelling, grammar and punctuation

I amuse myself by reading how boring people can be when they are bored.

The older you get the more you realise there isn't any point to any of it. You are born, you are conditioned, you work, you get old, and ill and then die.

People are at different stages of their understanding of the overall cycle.

There comes a point when you realise you need to just "Be" !

You don't need to do anything, or go anywhere, or worry about anything. Just Be, just sit, look at Nature around you, watch it move, watch the animals and birds move, listen to the noises they make, listen to the breeze, watch its affect on plants and leaves, hear the children playing and laughing, watch the clouds travel across the sky, note their different shapes and colours, watch the ripples on water by a lake, the ducks as they dive for food, feel the sun on your arms and face . . . . in short, watch and hear the rhythm of the Earth, of Nature. It is a living and breathing thing, and you are a part of it.

Know yourself

Understand who you are

and just Be
