10 Quid ???? OMG it was sixpence when I was little.
Ive managed to save a couple of our new pups teeth , he only got a dog biscuit for them now I wonder if Ive short changed him!
Sounds like you are a bad mummy too Cass.
When I lost my first tooth and put it under the pillow, I remember staying awake all night to see the fairy. I wasn't bothered about the sixpence, I just wanted to ask where she got her lovely dresses from... because I wanted one.
My eldest daughter is 50 now, and I remember one evening she was eating her fish fingers, and suddenly started crying.
When I asked what the matter was she said "I just swallowed my tooth with the fish finger and now the tooth fairy won't come as I don't have a tooth for it".
I used to be awakeded by the sound of my little boys saying Mum the tooth fairy has forgotten AGAIN !
A quick search would ensure and Mummy would cry here it is under the bed must have dropped off .
Phew!
