When I lost my first tooth and put it under the pillow, I remember staying awake all night to see the fairy. I wasn't bothered about the sixpence, I just wanted to ask where she got her lovely dresses from... because I wanted one.

I left £1 for my sons teeth and ive still got one in a little blue envelope with a fairy on

I think it was one he had to have out at the Dentist.

My eldest daughter is 50 now, and I remember one evening she was eating her fish fingers, and suddenly started crying.

When I asked what the matter was she said "I just swallowed my tooth with the fish finger and now the tooth fairy won't come as I don't have a tooth for it".

Littlies are lovely.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Father Christmas, Easter Bunny or the Tooth Fairy.

We should not destroy their childhood.

I used to be awakeded by the sound of my little boys saying Mum the tooth fairy has forgotten AGAIN !
A quick search would ensure and Mummy would cry here it is under the bed must have dropped off .
Phew!
