3D Printing

Anybody on this forum got a 3D Printer?

What to you use it for? What does it cost to run?

Do tell all about it.

I have a 3d Printer, every sheet I print costs about Thruppence.

I remember reading up on 3D printers some time ago and it is all very interesting. I look forward to the day I can print myself a meat feast pizza.

I believe they are experimenting with 3D printing human organs using cultured tissue.

Yes and teeth. Dentists will be able to print crowns and implants while you wait.

Noel Fitzpatrick's supplier uses 3D printing for surgical implants. He prints 3D plastic models from scans to show the pet's "parents" what has happened/what he intends to do.
