Yes, indeed. Mo' town, an all black music company in Detroit, Michigan, produced some of the very best music. My personal favorite, however, was The Temptations and IMO their best was, "My Girl".

The Supremes were wonderful. Diana Ross is a national treasure. Motown is the beloved music of my adolescence.

When talking about the great music from the era, along side Motown, you also have to remember Atlantic Records who gave other great R&B and blues artists a voice.

I may sound like my father, but what happened to good music?
