You’re right we don’t have to, that choice is within our gift but there are consequences to defaulting on the portion that we have a legal obligation to pay and only a fool would risk doing so

Won't help much if that glass is not between shooter and target. But it beats use of knives, which is the weapon of choice by your hooligans, isn't it?

Hi

We are leaving the EU and the ECJ.

We are not leaving the International Justice system.

The ECJ will be replaced by the WTO for any trade disputes when we leave.

Of course you are an island. But, only geographical! Economical you are a minor part of the EU. If you leave you won't grow to the empire you were, you remain that minor player. Live with it.

Yes. But the phrase you require is 'hemmed in'....as in 'held in place'. If 'Brexit' is so unimportant to you Netherlanders, why are you on every thread, every discussion, every opinion pole,we BRITISH people open? We are discussing BRITISH stances,BRITISH politics,BRITISH reactions to your EU expenses-fiddling,tax-evading,intransigent beaurocrats.

Don't forget, don't EVER forget,as you sling abuse at us,that this whole pantomime came about because our prime minister went to your grote meesters merely to ask for a better deal than we had...and YOUR hebzuchtig,'wanhopig voor ONZE geld'-meesters,refused us better terms!

So now,you have Greece bankrupt,Italy fighting itself,France in turmoil,Turkey being used as a 'back door' for anyone wanting to just walk into your wonderful EU Wonderland-and Germany in recession.

Nah-you keep it,bruv. Rule Brittania!

Your country donates about 3-4% of the EU budget and only about 1% of NATO contributions.

You're by no means equal, in fact you're not even relevant. I don't know why you come on here and slate the UK and our democratic vote - it's like you've got "short man syndrome".
