Yellow pages

Hadn't seen one for years but one just popped through my letter box, small flimsy thing compared to the door sops we used to get. Took a look and think it will go straight in the recycling bin as we look things up on line these days.
Such a waste.

I looked at the pathetic little 'shadow of its former self' when it fell through the door and put it straight in the bin .
The print was far too tiny for me to struggle with and so few companies bother to pay to list in there it is pretty useless anyway.
I go to 'Yell' if I need the service, I can at least read the print there.

I miss the big Yellow pages of old, but do admit that I get a lot of contact telephone numbers from the internet these days - sadly.

Not had a landline since 2007,still get all the phone books pushed through my letterbox. Shows how much they have shrunk, they stay shrink wrapped and end up being recycled when next years drop through the box. Most of my communication is done online these days.
