Re: Acts of kindness

Today an elderly woman asked me if she was on the right direction for a local Hospice, she was way past her stop,so I told her to stay on the bus for 2 more stops, then told her the number of another bus and where to get off ,then to cross the road catch another bus, again saying the number. I repeated it all to her again just before I got off the bus. I only hope she remembered all I told her

Re: Acts of kindness

A few years ago a brand new tv was delivered from argos to our house and signed for by our neighbour, as we weren't in, only thing was we'd never ordered anything from argos or anyone for that matter , so , using the address on the label my son managed to trace the rightful owner and after a phone call to establish that he was indeed the right person he came to collect it , I helped him load it into his car and he gave us a bottle of wine as a thank you, he was going to call argos and have words , and I'd love to have heard that conversation, dont know how we managed to have a new tv delivered in error but it happened
