Re: How Big Is Your...... Ego?

I thought only celebrities and politicians had egos.

I don’t think ego matters much to ordinary folks, having said that, a little pat on the back every now and then makes us all feel better about ourselves, it’s only natural, but that’s not really ’Ego’ is it, most people will feel slightly embarrassed or even blush when they receive a nice compliment, an egoist will not, they expect it.

It’s the people who think they are superior to others that crave praise and attention for how they look and how clever they are, in fact for everything they do, they struggle to be the main attraction wherever they go.
Take Donald Trump for example, he’s just one big ball of ego, his ego is so big it’s coming out his eyeballs, he needs adulation every day, it’s like a drug to him, poor man.

When my grown up family say that I was always a good father and grandfather it gives me a big lift, that’s priceless to any man whoever was a father and grandfather, at the end of the day it’s not what others think of you, it’s what your own family thinks of you that matters, in my opinion that is.
